UBreathe: The Smart Natural Air Purifier That Can Remove 99% of Indoor Air Pollution. UBreathe Is Solving a Huge Problem in India with Its Innovative and Eco-Friendly Air Purifier.
How UBreathe Cleans Indoor Air with Plants
Indoor air pollution is a big problem that kills millions of people every year. It can cause many diseases like asthma, heart problems, cancer, and brain damage. Indoor air pollution comes from things like cooking with wood or coal, smoking, using chemicals, and outdoor pollution.
Many people use artificial air purifiers to clean the indoor air. But these machines are costly, noisy, and need a lot of maintenance. They may also make the air worse by producing ozone or other harmful substances.
UBreathe is a startup from Delhi that makes smart natural air purifiers with plants. UBreathe was started by Sanjay Maurya, an IIT graduate who learned from NASA research that plants can remove pollutants from the air with the help of microorganisms in the soil.
But he also found out that plants alone are not enough to clean the indoor air fast and well. So he invented a technology that makes the plants work 500 times better by using a fan. The fan sucks in the dirty air and passes it through the soil where the plant roots and microorganisms clean it. Then the fan blows out the clean air into the room.
How UBreathe Works
UBreathe's smart natural air purifier has a plant pot with a fan at the bottom and a sensor at the top. The sensor checks the air quality and controls the fan speed. The fan makes a low pressure inside the pot, which pulls in the polluted air from around and pushes it through the soil-root zone. The plant and its soil friends then take out the pollutants and give back fresh air.
UBreathe says that its smart natural air purifier can remove up to 99% of fine dust, 90% of harmful gases, 80% of carbon dioxide, and 70% of carbon monoxide from indoor air. It also says that one plant pot can clean an area of up to 300 sq ft.
What UBreathe Offers
UBreathe has two products for home or office use: UBreathe Life and UBreathe Ubie. UBreathe Life is a big plant pot that can hold any plant you like. It has a smart sensor that connects to an app on your phone and shows you how clean the air is and how well the device is working. UBreathe Ubie is a small plant pot that comes with a fixed plant and a simple light indicator for air quality.
UBreathe has applied for six patents in India and one patent in Europe for its breathing roots technology. It has also won many awards and praises for its innovation.
What UBreathe Plans to Do
UBreathe's goal is to make a cleaner and healthier environment for everyone by using natural solutions. They think that plants are not only pretty but also powerful helpers in fighting air pollution and climate change.
UBreathe's plan is to make more products, reach more customers in India and other countries, make new technologies and uses for plant-based air purification, and work with other people like government agencies, NGOs, companies, and schools.
UBreathe hopes to become a global leader in natural air purification and make a positive impact on people's health and well-being.
Recently, UBreathe got a deal of ₹1.5 crore from Namita Thapar on Shark Tank India, a TV show where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to investors. They plan to use the funds to scale up their business and reach more customers.
UBreathe is a remarkable startup that is making a difference in the world by using plants to purify indoor air. They have created a smart natural air purifier that is safe, effective, and affordable. They have also shown their innovation and passion by winning many awards and securing a deal on Shark Tank India. They have a clear vision and a strong plan to make the environment cleaner and healthier for everyone. I admire their work and wish them all the best for their future endeavors.
